The psychotherapeutic relationship is truly a sacred one.
I feel blessed and grateful to have the skills to pursue
this as my lifes work. I have studied and taught
psychotherapy for more than thirty years, and continue to
teach other professionals throughout the country [Click Here for a
description of some of my workshops].
Many paths bring people to psychotherapy. My role is to
help guide you onto whatever path is next appropriate in
your life or assist you in negotiating the path you have
already chosen with clearer vision and a stronger feeling
that you are heading in the "right"
directioneven when the "right" direction
may not feel so good in the present moment.
I believe our struggles and difficulties in
lifewith ourselves and with othersare all
opportunities to grow and transform old ways and
perspectives into new approaches to life. The obstacles
and struggles are our pause button providing us with the
opportunity to review what we need to learn, and may have
learned, and move onincorporating the new learning
into our way of being.
Viewed in this way, pain, depression, difficulties in
love and other relationships can take on new meaning and
possiblybe more tolerated, if not embraced.
I see my role as guiding you in seeing what you have not
seen, feeling what you have not felt, and vocalizing what
you have not said. Together we will explore those
avenues
and then you will move on. I know in
advance that I will be deeply touched by our experience,
and honored that you have invited me briefly into your
world.
