Dream Work

This workshop will explore different ways of utilizing the unconscious information given to us by our dreams and imaginative process. We will examine the language of the unconscious and how to understand and bring to consciousness its messages. Central to the process of understanding and utilizing this material is the belief that our Dream material can be viewed as a gift from our Higher Power. Information we currently lack and need to understand about ourselves in order to be more fully an active participant in our own recovery and quest for spirituality .

The workshop will examine Jungian models for approaching this work. For Dreams the steps involved are :

a) Associations

b) Dynamics

c) Interpretations

d) Rituals

For Active Imagination the steps involved are:

a) The Invitation

b) The Dialogue

c) The Values

d) The Rituals

Participants will have an opportunity to utilize these steps with some of their own material and experience the impact this "Inner Work" can bring to the Recovery process.
